A warm HSAC to Claus Schnorr. We look forward to diving with you!

Congratulations to our newly qualified divers. Lindy, Harriet and Malcolm (finally) all of whom qualified as Ocean Divers this weekend. Excellent work guys.

Congratulations also to Preeda, Gary and Steve who did their first open water dives with the club.

Swanage Report

The Swanage trip was extremely successful with some great diving. The wrecks were the Fleur de Lys and the Valentine tanks, the tanks being particularly good fun and both wrecks having a good variety of marine life. Sightings included a pod of porpoises (not dolphins according to our team marine biologist), cuttlefish, dogfish and spider crab (the last three all naturally extremely huge) and a lumpsucker with nest in the tank turret (not a small deformed bottlenosed dolphin driving a tank as someone reported). Well done to everyone for getting things signed off and many many thanks to the instructors for their hard work.

Training books

Don't forget to get your training books signed off. If you're not going to be in the pub afterwards then catch your instructors as they leave the pool.
