How to book a place:

bullet

Dives are run on a first come, first served basis (trainee Ocean Diver places are subject to the availability of instructors)

bullet

A £80 deposit FOR EACH TRIP secures your space - please note this is a change from previous years, you will need to send a deposit cheque

bullet

for each trip you book onto (cheques can be post-dated to the date of the trip). Any balance for each weekend will be payable during the weekend itself

bullet

Club members who have a deposit already on account from last year - your deposits will be returned to you

bullet

Deposit cheques should be made payable to HSAC and sent/handed to Caron Smith, Expeditions Officer, caron.smith@ubs.com (tel. 07870 810226)

bullet

If you book on a trip but can’t go you need to find a replacement or lose your deposit for that trip.  (Sorry, but otherwise the club loses money)

bullet

Unless otherwise advised, you are responsible for arranging your own travel and accommodation - contact the Expeditions officer or the Dive Marshall for each trip, for advice/ details of local B&Bs etc.

bullet

Please make sure you hold the right qualifications for the dive. (For the avoidance of doubt, this means that you must actually have that qualification stamped in your book by the time of the dive and not be ‘just waiting to do the test / finish a few lectures’ etc!!)

bullet

If you are not sure whether you are qualified to participate in a particular trip, please check with the Diving Officer before booking

bullet

You will be expected to bring all your own equipment for all trips. If you need to borrow tanks. etc. from the club, please speak to the Equipment Officer in plenty of time before the trip to arrange this
