8th/10th May St Abbs Weekend  This is a treat not to be missed St Abbs & Eyemouth Marine Park has some of the finest shore diving in the UK, including the famous Cathedral Rock archway. The itinerary would be roughly as follows :
bulletFriday : Travel up in the evening
bulletSat  & Sun : Dive from Eyemouth/St Abbs taking in Cathedral Rock, Weasel Loch and The Divers Hole. (15m max.). These are great dives and suitable for any ability of diver.
bulletMon : Charter a boat from St Abbs to dive the Glanmire (30m) then an off shore reef up to 20m. The charter is optional and if you don’t want the depth there’s much more shore diving to be done.
bulletTues / Wed : We have an option to charter a Farnes boat to check out Whirl Rocks & some of the other deeper more advanced sites. This is recommended for more experienced divers only.

 Booking on dives is simple

 1.  Tell the Expeditions Officer, Rob Smith, which dives you want to go on:  Mobile 07789 430038 / email: expeditions @ hackneydiving.org

2.  A single deposit of £70.00, payable to HSAC, secures your place on your preferred dives.

3.  At the end of each dive weekend you pay for your diving.  Your deposit rolls on to cover you for your next dive.

4.  Once you book a place you are responsible for filling that space on the boat and must find a suitable replacement if you can‘t go.

5.  If you can’t make a dive and can’t fill your space you lose your deposit (only the cost of the dive is taken from your deposit).  You then need to pay another £70.00 deposit to re-secure your place on other dives you are booked on (ie you need to ensure that you have deposited £70 with the club).

6.  Your deposit will be returned to you on request or after the last club dive of the season.

7.  To ensure we fill the boats and don‘t lose money, we will offer any spaces to other clubs if the boat is not filled 14 days before the dive.  To ensure you secure your space you are therefore advised to book ahead.

Safe diving!
