Xmas Party!

Well folks,

The pub is booked, the DJ is booked, the food is ordered and everything is paid for. Everything is going according to plan apart from the fact that I've only sold 9 shagging tickets!!!!! What's the story?

For the benefit of anyone who has been on the moon for the last month - the Xmas party is on the Friday the 19th March in the Ravenscroft Social club (just by Colombia flower market), the same place as last year. We got to charge £8 a ticket to cover the food and DJ etc.... but the drink is really cheap so it will all work out ok. The craic will be good and the raffle prizes brilliant as always!! I've got the tickets and I'm flogging them down the pub on Mon nights. If anyone can't make it down on a Mon night to pick up a ticket let me know and I'll send you directions to get there [Map Here - Ed] - we can sort out the ticket later.

Monday 15th December was the last pool day this year.  We will be back at the pool on Monday 5th January 2004.

If anyone wishes to take a try-dive in new year (new year's resolution to take up a new sport or to get some extra exercise) there is still time to arrange a try-dive for the 5th.  Please contact Rob Wilkins or Paul McBride to book a place.

The Ocean Diver course lectures start on Monday 12th January.  Those taking part will need the Ocean Diver BSAC pack.  If you are taking the course and don't currently have one, then contact  Paul McBride who will be able to order a pack for you.

PS Merry xmas to all and have a happy new year.  Looking forward to seeing you all in January.

O2 Administration Course

The all day Oxygen administration course which was held at Michelle's on 14th December 2003 was a great success.  Eight divers passed the course as part of their Dive Leader training.

Many thanks to John Webber and Michelle Stokes for all their hard work in both preparation and on the day.  A special thanks goes to both Michelle and her husband Jonathan for preparing a fantastic lunch for about 15 people!
